This website is operated by Althaea Soul. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Althaea Soul. By visiting our website and/or purchasing something from us, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service.
These Terms apply to all users of the site, including browsers, customers, and contributors of content.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website or services.
Online Store Terms
By agreeing to these Terms, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are purchasing on behalf of a minor, you confirm you have the authority to do so and accept these Terms on their behalf.
You must not use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose or violate any applicable laws.
Products & Services
All products are subject to availability. We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products at any time.
We make every effort to display product descriptions and images accurately. However, we cannot guarantee that your device’s display will reflect colours or textures perfectly.
Our skincare products are cosmetic in nature and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent medical conditions. Results from skincare products may vary between individuals.
Pricing & Payment
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated.
For international orders, prices may be displayed in your local currency at checkout for convenience. Currency conversion is processed by your payment provider and may be subject to exchange rate fluctuations and any applicable fees charged by your bank or payment provider.
We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time without notice. Price changes will not affect orders for which payment has already been received. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or system error, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund, even if the order has been confirmed.
Payment must be received in full before orders are processed and dispatched.
Shipping & Delivery
We aim to dispatch in stock orders within 3–5 business days, with delivery timeframes varying depending on location. Estimated delivery timeframes are provided as a guide only and are not guaranteed.
We are responsible for arranging shipment of your order. Once your order has been dispatched, delivery is carried out by third-party carriers. While we will assist in resolving delivery issues where possible, delivery timeframes and carrier operations are outside of our control.
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and may be affected by external factors such as carrier delays or weather conditions. We will not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where that failure or delay results from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, extreme weather, customs delays, carrier strikes or disruptions, government restrictions, or public health emergencies.
Receipt of an order confirmation email does not guarantee acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit any order at our discretion, including where a product is unavailable, there is an error in pricing or product information, or we suspect fraudulent activity. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, you will receive a full refund.
International Shipping
International shipping is currently available only for the Kindred Spirits card deck to selected countries.
All other products are available for delivery within Australia only.
We reserve the right to cancel or amend any international order that includes ineligible items.
Customs, Duties & Taxes
Customs duties, taxes, and import fees may apply to international orders depending on the destination country.
United States:
Your shipping cost includes applicable duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees. In most cases, no additional charges will be payable upon delivery.
If you are contacted for payment, please contact us prior to making any payment so we can assist.
All other countries:
Orders are shipped on a Delivery Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis. Duties, taxes, and customs fees are not included and may be charged upon arrival. These charges are the responsibility of the customer.
If customs charges are not paid and the parcel is returned, any return shipping costs, customs charges, or carrier fees may be deducted from any applicable refund.
Returns & Refunds
Our returns policy complies with the Australian Consumer Law.
Under the Australian Consumer Law, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund where a product has a major failure, or to a repair or replacement for certain minor failures.
We do not offer refunds for change of mind purchases.
Due to hygiene reasons, opened or used skincare products cannot be returned unless faulty.
International Orders
We do not accept returns for international orders due to change of mind, refusal to pay customs duties or taxes, or failure to collect the parcel. Where applicable law in your country of residence grants you a statutory right of withdrawal or cooling-off period for online purchases, that right will be honoured in accordance with the applicable legislation, notwithstanding the above.
Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Duties, taxes, and customs fees (where applicable) are non-refundable once paid to the relevant authorities.
Return shipping costs for approved international returns are the responsibility of the customer unless required otherwise under applicable consumer law.
In Their Honor - Donations
$2 from each Kindred Spirits deck sold is donated to animal welfare organisations supporting dogs in need. Donations are distributed on a quarterly basis and recipient organisations may change over time at our discretion. These donations are made independently and do not constitute a formal partnership or endorsement unless otherwise stated.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, photographs, artwork, illustrations, product designs, logos, graphics, branding, the Kindred Spirits card deck, and other original materials, is protected by copyright and is the intellectual property of Althaea Soul unless otherwise stated.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, modified, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
Accuracy of Information
We strive to ensure all information on this website is accurate and current. However, we do not guarantee that all content is error-free or complete.
